Pokemon Go - Recreating a Game Through a Global Pandemic

Image
Pokemon Go, if most of you did not know is a mobile game app that allows you to play, battle, and catch Pokemon out in real life. While the Pokemon themselves are not real, the game is real in Corvallis (and for me). As everyone in the world knows by now COVID is the new norm. With that comes some added challenges for those who play and enjoy Pokemon Go. Since the games mainly relies on its consumer base to go out walk, explore, and do special tasks. It has now had to improve and make adjustments to the game so people can still enjoy and play, but from the safety of their home. My name is Catherine and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.  I decided to transfer to OSU after taking a few years off of school (7 or 8) and realizing I wanted to get my BA to improve my skills and job opportunities.   I used to work as a Wardrobe Stylist and went to school for makeup and hair. Though I was looking for a job that would provide me with more stability than freelancing did and more consistent pay. When looking for jobs in the corporate sector I began to realize the necessity for a BA degree and here I am.  I am an Apparel Major currently part of the Degree Partnership Program with Linn Benton. This is upcoming term marks my third term at OSU and second at Linn Benton. (One more year to go!!!) I enrolled in this course as it is part of my core studies for OSU. Since Apparel Design falls under the School of Business at OSU. So by default I am studying both Business Administration  and Apparel Design . Which is probably a really good thin...
